Legend has it that Santa traverses the world on Christmas Eve distributing gifts to a myriad of recipients, asking only for a bite of a cookie, a sip of milk, and mostly good behavior.
Unfortunately, in the City of Kenner there are some families that don’t share in these good tidings due to circumstances.

In an effort to remedy this situation, TKN’s ”656 Foundation” a 501c3, is committed to provide Christmas presents and financial support to select families in need during this time of giving.
Santa in the Sand

Each December, Olympians Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss (TKN), along with a group of volleyball elves, produce ”Santa in the Sand”, a beach volleyball extravaganza with games, live and silent auctions, music and entertainment, food/beverage, to raise resources and ensure those without have an opportunity to share in the holiday spirit. In collaboration with the City of Kenner 10 families will be selected as recipients of Santa in the Sand’s 2024 gifting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn from the best, hone their skills, and have fun on the court. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your game, this clinic is perfect for all skill levels. Every participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and the event will be packed with games, prizes, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Enjoy music and entertainment throughout the day, and take part in the silent auction for a chance to win amazing items—all while supporting a wonderful cause. Whether you're playing or cheering from the sidelines, this is a holiday event you won’t want to miss!

The Santa in the Sand after-party is where the fun truly begins! After an exciting day of beach volleyball, players and guests will dive into BBQ, beer, wine, and live music.
